Ubisoft announced today the release of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, the latest entry of the famous Tom Clancy’s franchise. In this new action-adventure title, payers will incarnate Sam Fisher, a fearless operative determined to to hunt down the the Blacklist, a terrorist organization that is threatening the United States of America. Splinter Cell Blacklist  follows the events of Splinter Cell Conviction, where the corrupted Third Echelon was shut down by Patricia Caldwell, the in game President of the United States. Geoffroy Sardin, Ubisoft’s chief marketing and sales officer, ensured that Blacklist continues to deliver rich content and a high immersion level:

As one of Ubisoft’s most revered franchises, Splinter Cell Blacklist continues the tradition of taking the series to greater heights by delivering rich new content, an immersive storyline, and the return of celebrated multiplayer mode, Spies vs. Mercs. Splinter Cell Blacklist will introduce a new dynamic feature that allows players to take down enemy targets while on the run, creating a more realistic and intriguing experience. Customization and choice-based features will always be present during this modern story, players will have the “freedom to choose the best way to face any challenge by tapping into Sam’s arsenal of lethal skills and training.” Blacklist will displays three playable modes: the single player campaign, the co-op missions and the Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode. This last feature will support thrilling battle of up to eight players at once. The Blacklist world will have a global economy and a customization system that allows players to completely customize their gameplay.
