Square Enix have managed to surprise the gaming world announcing that their latest RPG, The Last Remnant will be released on PC systems before it gets a PS3 version. The game is scheduled to hit Japan on April 9 and there’s no word yet about the rest of the world, but it must be coming sooner rather than later.
Until then, you can make sure to purchase whatever hardware you need to meet the Last Remnant system requirements, as revealed by Square Enix themselves. Therefore, here are the recommended system specs:
- OS: Windows Vista
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (2.4 GHz) / AMD Athlon X2 (2.4 GHz)
- RAM: 2GB
- HDD: 15GB of free space
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 8800 VRAM 512
- Network connection.
So it’s worth noting that the network connection is required when installing the game. Hopefully this means no DRM, since we’ve already seen how much harm it can do, with the latest victim of DRM being Gears Of War.
