Sega has revealed a number of original cast members of Alien including Sigourney Weaver have been reunited for the upcoming game Alien: Isolation.
The cast will feature in two downloadable missions that will be available as pre-order exclusives. Alongside Sigourney Weaver, the missions will feature Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett) and Yaphet Kotto (Parker) each reprising their roles which will see you relive classic scenes from the films.
The cast members’ likenesses will be used along with their voices, except for Ian Holm (Ash) where a sound-alike has been used for his dialogue.
All pre-orders for Alien: Isolation will be upgraded to the Nostromo Edition, which will include the Crew Expendable mission. This will take place after the death of Brett, and will put players in control of one of three crew members: Ellen Ripley, Dallas or Parker as they try and lure the Alien into the ships airlock.
The second mission, Last Survivor, will be an exclusive to GameStop. This will see you play as Ripley as she navigates through the Nostromo, activate the self-destruct sequence and make her way back to the Narcissus shuttle.
The Creative Director of Alien: Isolation Alistair Hope said: “Working with the original cast has been an incredible experience. It was important to us to have the key original cast members reprise their roles in order to perfectly capture the atmosphere of the movie.
“For some of the original cast, this is their first appearance in an Alien video game. Seeing them reprise those roles after 35 years was an unforgettable experience.”
Alien: Isolation is due for release on the 7th October on Xbox One, PC, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360.
