musicwarsObviously a job not as popular as that of managing big football clubs, scouting and discovering for the next Miley Crus or Jonas Brothers is clearly a job for some people – and if they can’t do it in real life, then there is Music Wars 2010! The game, in development at the Wolverine Studios, is set to be released later this year and promises to deliver the fans some high quality gameplay, just like the previous games in the series.

Because, yes, there are other games in the series – the most notable product being Music Wars Rebirth released last year. However, Music Wars 2010 will come with some extra features and you will contend with marketing campaigns, distribution partnerships with other record labels, and record development on tight schedules! With improved performance and enhanced playability Music Wars 2010 is sure to be the defining music industry simulation of all time (and probably the only product, too?)

Wolverine Studios president Gary Gorski says, “I’m very excited to announce this title. Antuan is an extremely talented young developer and showed great promise with Music Wars Rebirth. His ever growing fan base certainly is in store for a treat with Music Wars 2010”

No details if the game will have some visuals in or if it will be mostly text-based, just like the previous iterations, but I guess that it’s not the looks music fans are looking for. Am I right?
