faith-and-a-45I don’t know if you still remember about the Faith and a .45 project – a crazy FPS developed by Deadline Games, creators of the fun and addictive Total Overdose. The thing is that unfortunately the game was put on hold, most likely because of the lack of a publisher. Which is absolutely amazing, since the little info released about the title proved it was simply fantastic!

However, it seems that the big guys didn’t agree. Deadline Games’ CEO Chris Mottes told Eurogamer that Faith and a .45 has been put on hold. “With our focus on the development of Watchmen, the activities related to the intense and atmospheric shooter Faith and a .45 – featuring a heavy focus on characters, co-operative gameplay, road-movie storytelling and cinematic aesthetics – have continued at a negotiation level,” he said.

I truly hope that the negotiations go well, since this game is full of potential. Just have in mind that it’s about a Bonnie and Clyde-like couple, it’s set during the Great Depression of the 1920s (which means that it’s also kind of actual, too) and it’s focus is on co-op play, and you’ll understand why I am so excited about the game. Oh, yes, and there’s this absolutely great title that simply reads “Buy me! Buy me!”
