Since it’s the wild West where it’s all happening in Digital Chocolate’s Gangs of Boomtown and since we have weapons to upgrade, it only seems natural that we have duels in the game. I am here to share with you more details about the Duel feature in Gangs of Boomtown, to help you understand how it works and how to win your duel gunfight (since this is the official name).
Basically, in a duel or duel gunfight, you get to fight against players from all over the world. The outcome of this Gangs of Boomtown duel is influenced by a few factors and you can check them out below:
– Draw Speed of the Gun you have equipped (also influenced by Quick Draw Skill)
– Damage of the Gun you have equipped (including the Headshot skill)
– Luck (or random factor)
– A calculation of the attributes and results you got in the first two phases if no winner is found during these phases.
Although sometimes it seems that luck is really important here and you can actually lose a duel to a lower level player with a poor gun (more about this in another article!), it is really worthy to try your hand in Gangs of Boomtown duel gunfights as you can win valuable items for upgrading your buildings here.
How many duels can one have in the game?
It all depends on the ammo you have. When you’re out of ammo, you’re out of dueling rights!
So make sure to load your gun and good luck in your fights. You will certainly need some!
