Right before the beginning of a new year, Nintendo updates the Wii Shop Channel with three new titles for you to enjoy: the in-house Maboshi’s Arcade, Hudson’s Cue Sports – Pool Revolution and the classic NES sci-fi title, Zoda’s Revenge: StarTropics II.
Maboshi’s Arcade can be purchased for 800 Wii Points and up to three players can play it. Use the intuitive controls to bash enemies in Circle mode, weave your way through Stick mode or burn a path around obstacles in Square mode-all while dealing with power-up items and keeping watch on which effects the other game windows may have on your own.
Cue Sports – Pool Revolution can be purchased for 500 Wii Points and can be played by up to four players. As the name suggests, this is a virtual billiards game that offers you lots of game modes, like 9 Ball, 8 Ball, Rotation and Snooker and even trick shots. Guaranteed fun for the end of the year!
The Virtual Console title released this week is Zoda’s Revenge: StarTropics II, a single player sci-fi game which can be purchased for 500 Wii Points. Take on the role of Mike Jones, intrepid hero of the StarTropics universe, and once again battle the evil alien Zoda to control the fate of the Argonian people. All with improved gameplay mechanics and better looking visuals!
