call of duty advanced warfareCall of Duty: Advanced Warfare claims top spot in the UK All Formats Chart, managing to beat the total week one sales of Destiny, Titanfall and Wolfenstein combined.

Chart Track states Advanced Warfare’s sales beat the combined total of those three games by 14%.

Advanced Warfare comfortably beat the sales of its predecessor, Call of Duty: Ghosts. However, when you consider Ghosts launched on the new gen consoles before they had even been released, and this game benefitted from a Monday launch with the Day Zero Edition, it isn’t completely surprising.

Despite this success, the game is only able to be the UK’s fifth fastest-selling game in the Call of Duty franchise.

Elsewhere in the charts, FIFA 15 drops to second after spending the first six weeks of its launch at the top.

There is a new entry in third place, Football Manager 2015 on PC. This could have been higher if Chart Track included downloads in their chart.

Alien: Isolation benefits from a strong sales week, retail promotions being a factor this week as it reaches its second highest placing since its launch five weeks ago.

Destiny climbs a place to fifth, whilst the PlayStation Edition of Minecraft drops down three places to sixth.

Skylanders Trap Team rises once again, up two places to seventh, whilst Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive drops six places from its first week, finding itself in eighth this week.

The Evil Within slips down five places to ninth place, as the Xbox Edition of Minecraft holds onto 10th place.

The UK All Formats Chart Top 10 (Week ending 8th November 2014) is as follows:

There are a lot of new releases to give Call of Duty a run for its money in the battle for first place, with Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, LEGO Batman 3, Warlords of Draenor, and PES 2015 all getting released this week. Expect movement in the Top 10 for sure.
