Fans of the Star Trek series probably know that there are only a couple of months remaining until they receive the much anticipated Star Trek reboot. If they’re also gamers, they might be up for a treat since it has just been discovered that a licensed game will come along! However, all we have about this upcoming name is the confirmation that it exists and the name: Star Trek DAC (but we have no idea what DAC means or is).

The upcoming game was “announced” via a promotional insert which will be found in the Star Trek Season One Blu-ray release – Paramount released the artwork and therefore revealed the existence of Star Trek DAC as well. The development is being handle by Naked Sky Entertainment, which makes us believe that we’re going to get an XBLA/PSN title instead of a full-blown, full budget game. But surprises can appear from anywhere, right?
