primarySmart platformers are always welcomed here in the Unigamesity and I am glad to let you know that I’ve found a recently released one. Primary is the name of the game that grabs Unigamesity’s free flash game of the day award today and if you wish to learn more about this free to play title, read on!

According to its official description, “Primary is about Roy, a super soldier in the land of the HUEman, who must climb to the top of Prizim tower to try to find a way to close the portal that is allowing horrible black goopy creatures into his world.” Yes, you are Roy and you have to climb up to stop the black invaders. How? By using the elevator, of course!

You can imagine, however, that it’s not as simple as it might seem at first: the elevators in Primary are not like regular elevators, allowing you to go from the first to the last floor. No, they’re positioned in different areas and you’ll have a real challenge reaching them.

Your Hueman has a great ability: it can change colors and grant extra bonuses from each color it gets. For example, yellow allows you to go invisible and invincible (but unable to move), red allows you to shoot a fireball while blue lets you place blocks of ice wherever you want to. And all these, as you can imagine, will help you solve the puzzles and proceed.

Add to that the fact that there are different platforms scattered around on which you can only step if you have a specific color – and usually you’ll have to move really fast and change your color, otherwise you won’t make it. So there are a few levels that you’ll play more than one time, but there’s no real problem with that since levels are generally short, intense and quite exciting!

Unlike most of the flash games I’ve seen, Hueman also has a pretty decent soundtrack that keeps you alert so all in all we can say that it’s a gem of a game. So head over to Kongregate and play it to see for yourself. Have fun!
