pokemonFans all over the world should be thrilled to find out that Nintendo has announced a new Pokemon game, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky as a Nintendo DS exclusive. According to a Japanese comic magazine quoted by 1UP, the game will first be available for those living in Japan (being released this Spring) but US citizens should also get the game by the end of the year.

Unfortunately for those who were hoping for a completely new Pokemon game, that’s not the case since Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky is a follow up to last year’s Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorer of Darkness games. But, hey! It’s better to at least having something new than nothing, right?

And Nintendo promises to fulfill our needs for new pokemons with the new game: we’ll have a minimum of five new starters in Sky (Riolu, Eevee, Phanpy, Vulpix and Shinx), a new storyline presenting the return of Grovyle the Thief, plus new guild episodes which will allow you to control pokemons other than your own! So it’s a quite promising title, right?
