Manhunt 2, another very controversial title developed by GTA creators Rockstar, is already released in the US for almost an year already, but it was never released in the UK mainly because the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) refused to give the game an age certificate, considering it to be too violent.

However, early this year Rockstar won an appeal against BBFC’s decision and the game’s release was just a matter of time. A quite long time, if you are to ask us, but at least the game’s coming right?

According to IGN, Manhunt 2 will be released in the UK on October 31st this year, for the PS2, PSP and the peaceful Wii. And I would love to know how many Wii copies will be sold after all because, as we all know, the Nintendo Wii owners are not what we could call a Manhunt-type-of-game fan. Anyway, I believe one thing’s clear now on what we have to do: wipe the dust off that good PS2 and get ready for some virtual violence.
