Faith, Mirror's Edge heroine

Mirror’s Edge seems to be a hell of a title, especially because it comes out of Electronic Arts’ pockets and we all know how tough it is for the giants to come up with a competitive original IP… Well, apparently the new management is doing wonders and, even though Mr. Ricitiello loves the Nintendo Wii console more than any hardcore gamer does, a few very promising titles are expected to be launched by EA sooner rather than later.

One of these new titles is Mirror’s Edge and, from the trailers we’ve seen until now, we’ll have quite some fun playing it. Also, a very good thing, one that broadens the potential audience, is the fact that Electronic Arts is releasing the game on PCs, too. Even more, thanks to GameCyte, we now know the optimal system configuration your Personal Computer must have in order to offer you the best Mirror’s Edge experience:

  • Windows XP or Vista
  • Processor: Pentium 4 at 2.4 GHz
  • RAM: 1GB
  • Video: GeForce 6 Series with 256MB VRAM or better

Some pretty, pretty low requirements, having in mind that these are the recommended ones, not the minimum! So, all we can do now is to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
