guitarheroGuitar Hero’s track catalog is a bit behind Rock Band’s, and it appears that Activision plans to change things around… at least a little bit. Therefore, the publishers are planning the release of three new downloadable track packs during February, with songs from artists like Incubus, Paul McCarney or Bob Seger.

The first track pack for Guitar Hero: World Tour will be released on February 12, featuring Incubus’ “Drive,” The Shins’ “New Slang” and Ryan Adams’ “Wonderwall.” Just a week later, on February 19, Paul McCartney’s Wings returns to Guitar Hero with three new songs: “Junior’s Farm,” “Hi Hi Hi” and “Jet.” Finally, the Grammy winner Bob Seger will make his GH debut with legendary hit “Old Time Rock and Roll,” as well as “Her Strut” and “Get Out of Denver”

The Acoustic, Wings and Bob Seger Track Packs will be available on XBLM for 440 Microsoft Points and on the PlayStation Store for $5.49. The songs in each Track Pack will be released as downloadable singles for Xbox 360 for 160 Microsoft Points, PS3 system for $1.99 and Wii for 200 Wii Points.
