E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy is a cyberpunk RPG that was released in 2011, featuring a wealth of customisation for the protagonist. Players may opt to specialise in a variety of areas, from stealth to hacking to the straight up usage of weapons such as swords, guns and barrels. As seen in the preview, players also have the option of boosting their jump height and running speed.
The Battle Royale gameplay variant of the Blood Games DLC will take elements of the main game and transport them to a last man standing arena. The game is split into rounds, with the survivor of each round receiving points. Players may also increase their score by killing as many enemies as possible in each round.
The developers want to keep some elements of the customisation from the singleplayer, and so fans will be able to import their developed characters. However, seemingly in the interest of balance, some abilities have been disabled in the arena mode.
Battle Royale also departs from the main game by starting each player with both random weapons and armour. While this does allow each round to start on more or less equal footing, it will also force players to use weapons they’re not comfortable with and think on their feet, unlike the more planned out approach in the singleplayer.
Blood Games will launch as a free update for E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy tomorrow.
