If you started to feel the need for some virtual exercise in Free Realms, Sony has a great surprise for you: a new update called Goal Time that brings soccer fun (or football fun, for our fellows over the ocean) to the virtual worlds of Free Realms.

Even though Free Realms, the latest release from Sony, is a really successful MMO game, the company is still caring about their older franchises – EverQuest, for example. Sony’s latest trip in the world of MMO games seems to be a really successful one since they have managed to create a really cute yet challenging and successful game with Free Realms, a free to play massively multiplayer online game that’s suitable for both female and male gamers of all ages.

The Matrix Online came with a nice concept back in 2005 when the game was released by Sony but, apparently, that wasn’t enough: the giants have announced that Matrix Online will be shut down on July 31- and that’s certainly a not-so-cool news for the fans of the MMORPG.
