Wiikly Update: Hot Rod Show, Family Glide Hockey and Musha

nintendo_wii-consoleThe Wii Shop Channel has been once more updated with three new titles that seem to be focused on one main trait: movement. No matter if we’re talking about sports in Family Glide Hockey or high speed, zany minicar racing in High Voltage Hot Rod Show, we’ll have to keep on moving if we wish to succeed. You can read below more details on the three new titles available in the Wii Shop Channel:

High Voltage Hot Rod Show is a WiiWare title from The Conduit developers which is not connected at all with the FPS. A fast-paced minicar racing games which can be played by up to four players, Hot Rod Show challenges gamers to master their cars by nailing ramps, power slides, bunny hops and tricks while avoiding mud pits and smashing through Boost Rings to fill their Boost Meters. The game can be purchased for 1,000 Wii Points.

Family Glide Hockey is a family-friendly title which challenges players to prove their glide hockey skills in a gymnasium, a forest park, a beach, an amusement park and even the freezing Arctic. With cel-shaded visuals and multiplayer for up to four people, the game seems to be quite affordable at only 500 Wii Points.

The Virtual Console gets one new title this week, too: Musha, a Sega Genesis title which can be purchased for 800 Wii Points. Players are put into the shoes of Terri, a girl piloting the Musha and fighting against an intelligent computer which plans to destroy human kind. Of course, with your help, it will be destroyed.
