FIFA 15FIFA 15 has held onto top spot in the UK All Formats Chart as a week of no major new releases sees retailer pricing have the biggest influence.

The Top 5 stays the same this week, meaning Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is just behind FIFA, followed by Grand Theft Auto V in third place, Far Cry 4 keeping fourth place secure and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham stays in fifth place.

As said earlier, price reductions have the influence this week, with Just Dance 2015 getting an 11% jump in sales, with the Wii proving an especially popular format for it; 66% of its sales were on Wii, according to Chart Track.

Destiny is another game to benefit from a drop in price, and the release of its first DLC The Dark Below probably would’ve had a hand in it as well. The game gained a 29% increase in sales from last week, seeing it jump seven places up to ninth.

Minecraft climbs up the charts again, with the Xbox Edition up to seventh and the PlayStation version up one spot to eighth.

The Top 10 was rounded off this week is Assassin’s Creed: Unity, which drops down three places.

The retail release of Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris launched this week, and despite not charting in the All Formats Top 40, manages to chart at 17th in the PS4 charts and charts at 14th in the PC charts.

The UK All Formats Chart Top 10 (Week ending 13th December 2014) is as follows:

Next week will see a similar situation; with no new releases price promotions will once again hold the influence. What do you think will be Christmas No. 1?
