The current version of EA’s football simulator is the third in the series to have reached the landmark according to Chart Track, a milestone last seen back in 2011 with Zumba Fitness.
It fought off competition from Call of Duty: Ghosts, which climbs back up to second place. Meanwhile, Microsoft’s celebration of almost 10 years of Fable comes in third with Fable: Anniversary, which can be proud of topping this week’s Individual Formats Chart.
After beating FIFA 14 last week, Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition drops down to fourth this week.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is able to hold fifth whilst Grand Theft Auto V climbs two places to sixth.
Battlefield 4 drops down three places to seventh, whilst Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition drops to eighth.
Killzone: Shadow Fall climbs to ninth whilst Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag drops four places to round off the Top 10 this week.
