Saints Row 2 System Requirements and Release Date Revealed, DRM Detailed

saints-row2-boxTHQ?s answer to GTA, Saints Row 2, was expected to hit the PC systems sometime during this winter, but we never knew exactly when, or if our systems will have enough power to get the game running. Things will change today, because the publishers have released the system requirements for Saints Row 2, together with the exact release date and details about the DRM.

According to posts on the official boards, Saints Row 2 will be released for PCs on January 6 next year and ? good news for everybody ? will only use Steam as DRM, meaning that no extra stuff will be installed on your hard disk drives. We?re all glad to hear that ? I?m sure it will spare the game from tons of critics. However, there might still be a problem for those who go for the retail version of the game, as they will have to use Steam to activate their game as well. On the other hand, if you?re reading this you have internet connection, so it?s no problem for you!
