I don’t know if you are familiar with the Kairosoft titles for Android, but I am a huge fan of their games and for some reason Resort Empire reminded me somehow of their titles, with its pixelated time management gameplay, relatively complex build and addictive gameplay that kept me in front of the computer for hours (when I was actually supposed to be working).

The concept is pretty simple in Resort Empire: you’re in charge of building a five star resort, and in order to do it, you will have to build rooms and decorate the area, make sure that you keep everything clean and your visitors happy. In order to entertain the visitors (and keep the profits flowing), you need to build different facilities, such as fitness rooms and Spas and so on. And trees – a ton of trees because for some reason this is the way to get ahead of everybody.

Unfortunately, it’s not a very easy task to get things working your way and the wait can sometimes seem a bit too long and has the risk to turn the game into a slightly boring one. At least you have missions and unlockables and grumpy janitors to look after and give you something to do, but sometimes you will just have to sit back and wait for a day to pass so that you have some money in your pockets… because running a resort does not make you rich instantly!

Overall, the game is pretty fun and if you are a fan of such titles, you will probably have some great time in its company. The best part is that it’s free and just one click away. So have fun playing Resort Empire!
