Ah, the wild, wild West! (And no, I’m not talking about that crappy movie featuring Will Smith…) I’m talking about a new casual adventure game you should give a try if you feel like traveling back in time – at least virtually, and live life wild west style. In that case, you should be looking for Westward IV: All Aboard, now available on Big Fish Games.
Although dubbed as an adventure game by Big Fish Games, Westward IV: All Aboard is much more complex of that, mixing Role Playing game and strategy elements, as well as simulation elements. So it’s quite a game. Officially, the story behind it sounds like this:
“When the patriarchal owner of the Turner Railroad Company goes missing, his children, Anne and Henry, are called upon to uncover the truth behind his disappearance! Protect the family business from greedy bandits as you help the Turners expand their railway to neighboring towns. Rescue kidnapped citizens being held for exorbitant ransoms, battle greedy bandits, and guide your town to fortune and prosperity in Westward IV: All Aboard!”
The requirements to run the game are pretty low (with 512MB of RAM and a 1.0 Ghz processor outlining that), so all you have to do is follow the link and buy the game or get the demo to see if you like it or not!
