Unlike more arcade like experiences such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band, Rocksmith’s focus is to teach people how to play a real life guitar or bass. The game will allow players to plug in either instruments with a standard ¼” jack directly into all four platforms it is releasing on.

Rocksmith 2014 will make it’s debut on October 22 in the United States and will release on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Mac.
