As it usually happens with games in this genre, this first release won’t offer us a whooping amount of leagues or players. In fact, we’ll only be able to control English and Welsh teams (92 of them), and scout through the 3,800 players. But this is not a bad start at all, I have to admit that! And it’s better to have a smaller but perfectly researched database, than a huge one that has nothing to do with reality.
The Nintendo DS exclusive will be released on November 28 and it will have a suggested retail price of £29.99. And I must say that we’ve seen some in-game screenshots and Football Director DS seems to be promising. Of course, we’ve seen no actual gameplay, and that matters a lot, too. But we will see by the end of November.
