ff14Square Enix is planning to give the MMO fans who love the Final Fantasy universe another go at going online and enjoying it by developing Final Fantasy XIV, a game about which, as it usually happens with E3 announcements, we know almost nothing.

We do know that the title is scheduled to hit the servers sometime in 2010 which seems kind of soon if development didn’t kick off a couple of years ago. Also, we were told via a teaser trailer that the “adventure begins anew in the vast realm of Eorzea”, a fairy-tale-like realm with lots of waterfalls and virgin vegetation.

But except for that, there is nothing about the game. Don’t you just love developers and publishers who do that?
