dawn-of-war-2Those who love playing Dawn of War II (especially the multiplayer part) should be very pleased to hear that Relic is preparing a big patch, one that is expected to be made available in “early May”, which would normally mean in the next couple of weeks.

Among the things expected in the upcoming patch 1.3 for the RTS, the developers announced the introduction of a Two-on-Two game mode (a ranked mode with leaderboard support) and two new four player maps; an improved AI during Skirmish play; push to talk voice chat and “Company of Heroes style” sub-selection options; new squad decorations and “significant” improvements for the user interface; and a performance test for those of you wishing to find out the real Dawn of War II performance on their system.

And, according to Relic, this is just the beginning regarding the new things to be delivered by the upcoming Dawn of War II patch 1.3 – even though, I think, these improvements and changes alone would’ve been enough. However, we’re waiting for more details and I’ll let you know as soon as we have them.
