Summer is here at least in theory, since practically the weather is still awful, which means that we’ll have to spend more time inside, playing computer games. And if you’re starting to get bored with the games you’re playing already, you should not worry – there are a bunch of hot new titles being released in June 2010 for the PC and you’ll certainly have reasons to go on a spending spree!

But let’s not waste anymore time and let’s check out the best upcoming PC games to buy in June 2010:

Alpha Protocol

You’ve probably purchased this game already, since it was released in late May in Europe and on June 1st in the US. However, if you did not purchase Alpha Protocol, you’ve already missed at least a couple of hours of high quality gameplay. Even more, if you enjoy action RPG games like Mass Effect, you’ll certainly love Alpha Protocol as well. So go on and order the game now from Amazon or Play Asia and have fun. Still unsure? Check out an Alpha Protocol trailer below and decide!

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

A new adventure in the ever-evolving Prince of Persia saga, The Forgotten Sands ignores the previously released PoP game and continues the storyline of The Sands of Time. What does this mean? More action, more acrobatics and tons of enemies to destroy. The already-released console version of the game received lukewarm reviews and we can only hope that the PC version will be just as solid. There are high hopes in for this new game from Ubisoft which can be ordered from Amazon or Play Asia. Still unsure? Check out our Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands walkthrough and decide!

Sniper: Ghost Warrior

City Interactive, the developers of the game, are generally known for creating mid-budget, mid-quality computer games, but somehow Sniper: Ghost Warrior seems to get atop and deliver a really enjoyable first person shooter experience. As the name suggests, in this game you play the role of a skilled sniper (but there are a some close-ranged missions where you’ll play as a Delta Force member) and you have to restore peace in a Latin American country. Not a revolutionary story, but the game appears to be quite cool. Check out the game’s trailer below and if you like what you see, order it from Amazon right now!

Transformers: War for Cybertron

OK, I must admit that this game will most likely be a must-buy just for the diehard fans of the Transformers series (with or without Megan Fox), so if you’re not too much into Decepticons and Autobots, it would be best if you skipped this one. However, if you’re a fan, Transformers: War for Cybertron will deliver all your favorite characters and you’ll also get to play as both factions. We’ll also have multiplayer and co-op multiplayer which certainly adds a bonus to the overall value of the game, so fans should hurry to pre-order from Amazon or Play Asia. A little trailer for you, too:

Darksiders

A game that tells the story of a post-apocalyptic world that has been infested by meteor-like demons is certainly one that draws our attention. Add to that some high quality action delivered by THQ and characters with huge weapons and guns, tons of blood and special items and you have a solid recipe for a successful game. It also seems to mix the button mashing with the third person shooter, which adds just a bit of sense into the whole story, so it might quite a complete game. Check out the teaser trailer below and if you like it, don’t hesitate to get your game from Amazon or Play Asia.

APB

This MMO is certainly one expected to rock out this year! Created by the same person that was behind the original Grand Theft Auto, as well as Crackdown, All Points Bulletin (or APB) is expected to be actually a “GTA MMO”. Set in a fictional city where cops and “bad guys” are in a constant battle, APB promises to revolutionize the genre by introducing, amongst many other things, a character progression level based on a player’s skill and not time spent playing. This sounds really cool and the trailer below proves that the game itself will be one of high quality. Check out the offer on Amazon.com if you wish to buy it!

Singularity

If you enjoyed Wolfenstein and all the super-powers introduced in a first person shooter, you’ll certainly enjoy Singularity which seems to have the same concept with a different story and most likely some polished concepts and visuals. Making you travel from past to present in order to accomplish your mission and making use of special powers and upgrades, Singularity might seem like a new version of Singularity (that deals with the Russians instead of the Germans) but, hey! Nobody’s perfect and if that’s the only thing that the game does wrong, than it’s OK with me. Check out this Singularity video below and decide if you should purchase the game or not. Of course, from Amazon or Play Asia!

So… which of these hot games coming in June 2010 do you plan to purchase?
