Watch DogsUbisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed in a earnings call today that Watch Dogs will undoubtedly be the best selling game in 2014.

The game was delayed last month, alongside the next-gen open world racing game The Crew. Watch Dogs was originally slated for a late November release and was the most anticipated game for next-gen enthusiast, but Ubisoft decided to delay it until 2014 Guillemot detailed that both games are progressing “very well.”

Guillemot also stated that the delay will allowed developers to take advantage of the extra time to create “very high quality games.” In the case with Watch Dogs, the delay will also allow it to be the number game this year. “And so we are confident with the game and its ability to be one of the best sellers of next year.”

The Crew however never had an official release date but it will now only come out sometime before April 1, 2014.
