The game features remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light as well as all released Season Pass content.
Described by Deep Silver as “more than a HD upgrade” 2010’s Metro 2033 has been revamped using the latest iteration of the 4A engine to ensure the game “bringing all the graphical and gameplay improvements from Last Light to Metro 2033 Redux.”
As well as a graphical improvement for both games, they will feature a number of new tweaks to the gameplay, such as more responsive controls, advanced enemy AI and improvements to stealth and combat mechanics. Last Light also includes features asked for by fans, including ‘Check Watch’ and ‘Check Inventory’ features.
Both games will also have Ranger Mode included, providing the games with their most challenging experiences.
The Redux versions of the games will be available separately as a digital download, including all DLC for £15.99/ €19.99/ $24.99 or will be available as a boxed set at a RRP of £34.99/ €39.99/ $49.99.
Steam are providing an offer for PC gamers who already own either game, giving players the chance to get the Redux versions at half price. This offer is only for the individual downloads of the games and not the box set.
