2014 has just started and you’re probably planning to spruce things up a bit this year with a really cool gaming mouse. In case you do, we have some hot recommendations for you: good, reliable and durable (because, yes, we tend to get angry and smash them) gaming mice that we consider the best of 2014. But please don’t consider them invincible: few mice survive being smashed to the floor.

Jokes aside, these gaming mice will really make any hardcore gamer’s life a lot easier, will feel great in one’s hand and, in the end, are good enough be featured on our “best gaming mouse of 2014” list. So let’s check them out below or click here if you’re on a budget and looking for an up to date list of gaming mice under $50.

Red Cobra II Gaming Mouse

01 red cobra 2

This is a really cheap gaming mouse at just $14.90, and if you’re not a fan of the red color which we consider awesome, it also comes in blue. It is a nice, high precision gaming mouse with a huge scroll wheel and a longer clicking button to make sure that your clicks are recorded as fast as possible. Extremely stable and with three levels DPI, this is a great choice for a cheap gaming mouse. Check it out on Amazon.

Logitech G400s

02 logitech g400s

I’ve long been a fan of Logitech and their G400s gaming mouse model does not disappoint. Featuring an exclusive 4000 DPI Delta Zero Optical Sensor, this mouse is built for consistent, high-accuracy targeting in FPS games. It also has adjustable DPI levels on the go, meaning that you don’t have to stop gaming to change the levels (but you’ll probably just leave it at 4,000 for complete accuracy). Built in with 8 programmable buttons, the Logitech G400s looks a bit bulky in my opinion, but it’s made to last (20 million clicks and low friction legs that last 250KM). A really nice find, I’d say – so check it out here.

E-3lue Mazer Type-R

03 mazer

E-BLUE are known for creating cheap gaming mice with great designs and the Mazer Type-R is here to prove it. With a design that makes it look like it’s coming from an sci fi movie, this mouse seems fragile but it certainly is not. It’s also very silent (unless you start screaming) which makes it a good choice for late night gaming, headphones on and horror shooters running. Check it out on Amazon to get a great price!

Anker Gaming Mouse

04 anker gaming mouse

It just got real with the Anker gaming mouse, an incredible model that goes all the way up to 8,200 DPI for maximum precision. 9 programmable buttons, 2 onboard stored profiles, an 8-piece weight tuning set and over 16 million LED color options make it a great choice for the picky ones and the 6ft braided-fiber cable with gold-plated USB connector ensures greater durability. Maybe not the best looking gaming mouse of the bunch, but clearly one that always performs great! Click here to check this beast out!

Razer DeathAdder

05 razer deathadder

And it’s time to move to the Pros, with the Razer DeathAdder starting next. 6400dpi 4G Optical Sensor, Improved ergonomic side grips and a minimalist design that takes it back to the basics and proves that looks are never better than the gamer’s skill. And in this case, their mouse too. Check it out here for a $10 discount (offer might change in time)

Razer Naga Hex

06 Razer lol

A gaming mouse optimized for MOBAs or basically any action RPG the Naga Hex comes with 6 programmable buttons. You only need great fingers, as this mouse that’s made to last 10 million clicks can deliver 250 clicks per minute if you’re capable of delivering too. 1ms response time and a great design make it a great choice for LoL players (see the model in the screenshot) but it also comes in other colors. Check it out on Amazon to find out more about it.

Razer Naga 2014 MMO Gaming Mouse

07 naga 2014

Upgrading the Naga Hex a little bit, the Naga 2014 brings us twice as more buttons (for a total of 12) making it a perfect choice for MMO players all over the world. The scroll wheel on the Razer Naga now goes left and right, as well as up, down and in for more buttons at your disposal, whether for destroying games or navigating a lengthy forum for the best MMO starts. Customization is the key word when it comes to this gaming mouse so you can easily make it your own. Check out this little gem here.

And these would be Unigamesity’s choices for some really good gaming mice for 2014. Good luck fragging / looting and clicking!
