It’s been a while since I’ve heard about a new PSP exclusive being launched and probably fans of Sony’s handheld were expecting for a bit more than Air Conflicts: Aces of World War II an “arcade flight simulation” game from Graffiti Entertainment. Air Conflicts has reached gold status and will be released exclusively on PlayStation Portables on March 15, 2009.
As the name suggests, Air Conflicts: Aces of World War II is set in a WWII setting and delivers players “arcade flight simulation” gameplay – which continues to amaze me, since “arcade” and “flight simulation” are not terms to put together in one sentence. But I’m sure that the developers know better than I do!
Back to the game, it focuses on intense dogfights, daring bombing raids and exciting aerial missions, delivering 17 authentic planes from all over the world. Also, Air Conflicts will utilize the handheld’s wireless capabilities to allow up to eight players in multiplayer modes.
