Some players complained that they didn’t get their rewards to build the Horseshoe Pit. Players are advised to enter the other Zynga games through the Horseshoe Pit in Frontierville. That way you’ll get the building material reward.
If you are looking for the Railroad Spike, then you must first go to Frontierville, click on your incomplete Horseshoe Pit, and then click on the Earn for Free Button. This will take you to the Mafia Wars games. You need to level up three times to earn the spike. So if you’re playing Mafia Wars, be sure to go to it via Frontierville to be safe.
Once you’ve reached the right level, you’ll be rewarded with the Railroad Spike for the Frontierville Horseshoe Pit. Not only that you’ll also receive Mafia Wars Promo Pack. It contains ten Hired Guns, an Energy Pack, and a Frontier Chainsaw. If you already have a Frontier Chainsaw from the previous Mafia Wars/Frontierville promo then you’ll find two in your inventory.

Went through the right channels on the game…I’m on level TEN and still no spike in Mafia Wars. I did get all the other things playing the other necessary games…What gives with Mafia Wars??

I too went through the horseshoe pit to access all the zynga games and have not received the spike from Mafia Wars. All the other zynga games awarded their prizes and were pretty easy to find. I think it’s pretty crappy that we have to play all these other games and jump through hoops, just to have the games glitch and not pay out like they’re suppose to! >:(

I to am having a problem with getting the railroad spike. I Go through frontierville and the horseshoe pit to get to mafia wars and have leveled up 4 or 5 times and it kept giving me either a sharp axe or stove for cafe world and no spike. I am on level 265 in mafia wars. This is crazy!.

I have all mine….just keep playing you will get them but always access each site through the horseshoe pit as you play or you will not be rewarded the materials you need…I really love this game can’t wait for the other features…gold rush etc to become functional

Went thru frontierville, levelled up 3 times TWICE and nothing. I got a blank black screen the last time, in front of the levelled up screen. This has really annoyed me and zynga introducing these type of things is going to make me stop playing.

Same problem here, have levelled up 5 times now and no spike… My friend got hers but she started from scratch, got to level 8 and there was her spike. I just keep getting sharp axes. Not amused. Mafia Wars is pointless and so so boring.

hi everyone i had the same problem so i whent to zynga website & wrote to them my problem & that same day they wrote back 2 me saying they would try to fix it & a couple of hours later i got an email saying that they took care of the problem & that they gave me the spike 4 FREE!!!!! & they did & now im finished with my horseshoe pit!!!! TRY IT!!!!!

Level 31 or more, always go to the mafia wars through the frontierville pit – still waiting, this is stupid, I got all the other items weeks ago…………. why are some unable to get their and others can… please repair urgently!
