After a long wait, PC owners can finally check out now if they meet the system requirements to play the highly anticipated PC version of Resident Evil 5. We have both the minimum and recommended system requirements to run Capcom’s game, so please read them carefully and decide if you have what it takes to run this great game.

Minimum Resident Evil 5 system requirements:

OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Pentium D Processor; AMD Athlon64 X2
RAM: Windows Vista (1GB) Windows XP (512MB)
HDD: 8.0GB or more
Monitor: 800×600
Disc Drive: DVD9 compatible drive
Graphics Card: VRAM (256MB) DirectX9.0c/Shader 3.0 NVIDIA GeForce 6800 series ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro
Sound Card: DirectSound Compatible (DirectX9.0c or higher)

Recommended Resident Evil 5 system requirements:

CPU: Intel Core2Quad Processor or better; AMD Phenom X4 or better
RAM: Windows Vista (2GB or more) Windows XP (1GB or more)

Monitor: 1280×720 or larger

I must admit that the minimum requirements are quite low. 512 MB of RAM? Thank you, Capcom!
