I am a huge fan of Carcassonne (and other board games, of course, but since this one is what we’re talking today, let’s stick to it). You can’t imagine how happy I was to see that an iOS AND Android version of Carcassone has been released today by exozet games and how happy I was to realize that the mobile version of this popular board game is extremely well done.
Here is the game’s description, in case you never played Carcassonne: “Turn by turn, the players create a landscape by placing tiles with roads, cities, fields, and cloisters. The players deploy their followers – knights, monks, thieves, or farmers – to earn points. The player with the most points after the final scoring wins the game.”
The great thing about the iOS and Android version of Carcassonne, apart from managing to fully recreate the amazing feeling of the original board game is that, apart from the 4 player multiplayer, it also allows you to play alone versus the AI opponents. And they prove to be worthy adversaries, so you will always be able to get your Carcassone fix if you decide to get the mobile version. And if you are a fan of the game, then it’s a must to do it!
