We absolutely love flipping houses in the recently-launched House Flipper game on Steam. But making top profits from your houses is not as easy as you’d like it to be and in order to help you with that we have some House Flipper cheats and tips to help you get the most out of the game.

We absolutely loved the game, as it is obvious in our review and I am sure we’re not the only ones to love it. But if you’ve just started playing – or even if you’ve been at it for a while, it doesn’t hurt to get some help in order to make sure you’re doing everything right.

And that’s exactly what we’re here for: to help you out! So let’s not waste any time and instead let’s check out some House Flipper game tips and tricks below!

Complete the tutorial quests first

If you’re just starting to play the game, don’t rush into buying a property and trying to flip is ASAP. Learn the game’s mechanics by going through the early missions available on your laptop.

These missions act as a tutorial of sorts, getting you acquainted with the various functions and tools in the game. Only after you have unlocked all the tools in the tutorials you can consider yourself ready for an actual house flip.

This also helps you get some extra money for your upcoming homes, so you’ll have more funds to build the house of your dreams. For example, the final mission in the game right now will reward you with a whooping $500,000 so it’s really worth going through them all!

Alternately, you can just save one or two missions in case something goes terribly wrong with your house flips and you don’t have enough money to progress. If that happens, just go complete one of the remaining missions and you have one more shot at this!

Get the full 100% on missions

When completing the missions, make sure that you do so at 100% or as close to it as possible. I know that you are tempted to complete them as soon as you can, but remember that the closer you are to 100%, the more money you will get. And you need a lot of money in this business!

Upgrade your skills

Skills are extremely important in the game, even though just a few of them are directly related to how much money you will make.

However, upgrading skills makes your life a lot easier when it comes to playing the game and this is why you should take the time to check out the requirements and upgrade your skills as soon as you have the chance.

Here is how I recommend investing your first few points in each Branch of the Skill tree (if we can call it that):

Negotiation: Higher Payment x2, then Price Negotiation. There’s no point to invest in Quick Orders.

Cleaning: Once in Penetrating Vision and once in Long Range, then focus on Fast Hands and/or Penetrating Vision. Being able to see (and then remove) all the dirt in a house is a big bonus. For orders, too.

Demolition: Since it’s not very clear to me what these upgrades do, I went the safe way and invested in them in this order: Passionate Hammer Master, Better Equipment, Triceps of Steel.

Painting: All these are good. I personally went for Paint More twice, then Basic Painting and Instant Painting.

Building: Mason and Fast Building although the option to build more walls at once sounds interesting too!

Handyman: you can invest one in each category to start with since you will be doing a lot of everything when mounting devices.

How to house flip for insane profits

The fun part is building up those crap houses and selling them for tons of profits. However, you need to pay some attention to some important things if you want to keep your profits to the max, because simply building a house as you feel is right might not be enough.

The most important thing that you should pay attention to is the things that your customers want.

You will see the interested customers to the top left side of the screen, with the ones standing higher being the ones that will pay the most for your house.

In order to make sure that you are doing the right thing (choosing the right furniture and items, creating their ideal type of house and choosing the colors they love), you can simply check out their family profiles on your tablet.

You should also check out the blurbs of text that appear near their icons as you do various things in the game and note what they like and what they don’t. Being able to meet as many requirements as possible for your top bidders will guarantee huge earnings every time you sell a new house.

The second important thing you should pay to is the game’s own requirements for each type of room. For example, a bathroom won’t be considered a bathroom unless it has at least a sink, a toilet and a shower, but it’s improved if you get a bathtub and a mirror.

The same goes about the more complex rooms that your customers want: a family room, for example, needs a TV, Sofa, Table, Cupboard, Armchair, Flower, Bookcase, Carpet, Curtains, Speakers and Pictures in order to be considered complete by the game.

In other words, take your time to decorate each room in the house and make sure that you have complete rooms with at least the minimum requirements and that you meet the demands of your potential customers.

This would be all that we have for you right now in terms of House Flipper tips and tricks. We weren’t able to find any actual cheats yet, but I am sure that in the near future we’ll get some – or at least a bunch of mods that will allow us to cheat a little bit.
