LEGO Jurassic World will allow players to experience the storylines of the first three Jurassic Park films, as well as the upcoming film Jurassic World. It will be released in June, and will tie-in with the release of the film. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One and 3DS.
LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is scheduled for some time in autumn on the same platforms as Jurassic World. It will follow the storyline of both the 2012 The Avengers and its sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron.
“The LEGO videogame franchise remains a cornerstone of our business, consistently delivering fun, engaging gameplay and remarkable humour both kids and adults love,” said David Haddad, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “We look forward to expanding the successful series with this very exciting line-up of new LEGO experiences for players of all ages to enjoy on console, handheld and mobile gaming devices.”
“This year will be the biggest yet for LEGO videogames with these incredible titles and several firsts for the series,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director of TT Games. “TT Games are crafting humorous LEGO adventures, based on new stories and characters across some of the most well-known and iconic worlds.”
Alongside these two announcements, Warner Bros. also detailed 3DS and Vita game LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin, which is scheduled for release on the 27th March. It also announced that it has released The LEGO Movie Videogame on iPhone, iPad and iPod. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will also be making its way onto the App store in spring.
