farmville-msnEven though FarmVille is the biggest social game out there with around 75 million monthly users, game’s developers Zynga are still trying to improve the numbers by making the game available on other websites except for Facebook.

At first, Zynga launched FarmVille on it’s own domain (FarmVille.com) and now we see that the virtual farming game is available on MSN Games as well, as you can see in the image to the left (click to enlarge).

Playing FarmVille on MSN Games is done via Facebook Connect, which means that you’ll still need to log in to your Facebook account (or provide the log in information) if you somehow prefer to play FarmVille on MSN games rather than on Facebook.

Obviously, this move by Zynga wasn’t made for the existing players who are already accessing the game on Facebook and nor for those who try to play from work and have Facebook blocked: instead, the new move is focusing on drawing more players to Zynga’s game, having in mind that Microsoft reports that on MSN they have around 500 million users, which is a greater number than that on Facebook.

Still, if this will indeed add a huge number of new FarmVille players, only Zynga will know. Either way, it’s nice to know that you have a few open options as from where to access your favorite social game!
