Huge List of Football Manager 2011 Wonderkids and Great Youngsters

Update: Visit the following link for the list of Football Manager 2012 wonderkids and great youngsters.

One of the things I like to do the most when a Football Manager game is launched – in this case, Football Manager 2011 – is to start scouting the world, searching for wonderkids and great youngsters to help me and the club go forward. It’s never easy to spot the talents and truly promising players, but I did my best and I believe that I’ve created a complete list of Football Manager 2011 Wonderkids and Great Youngsters.

It took me nearly 8 hours to search for the players and 1 1/2 hours to actually sort the list and write this article, so comments are more than welcomed, while stealing the list (without linking to the source) is highly prohibited :) Now enjoy the complete list of FM 2011 wonderkinds and promising youngsters.

And what are the potential abilities for the wonderkids listed above?

Kevin from Zaragoza. He’s labelled the next Xavi. I bought him in FM10 and he became a regular on the spanish national team after about 5 seasons for my FC Lorient team.

I bought the game and I was hugely disappointed with the number of young players being assigned -10 for ‘potential ability’………only 2!!

The likes of Thomas Mueller, Anders Linegaard and Jordan Henderson, just to name a few, are very much underrated!

I think one of the main reasons is that the scouts working for SEGA and this FM series are either very LAZY or their scouting abilities have dropped.

I didn’t regret buying the game but I am open about selling it now at cut price!

Nathan Eccleston (AM, ST, 18) and Jack Robinson (DR, 16) of Liverpool seem to have pretty good potential, Eccleston scores goals fairly regularly for me.

Add in Rafael (Man Utd) as full-back. You can loan him with an option to buy at the start of the game.

I think Jack Robinson plays as a left-back, not a right-back. What do you think about Flanagan? Bought him for Manchester City and developed a lot. He became my main right-back about five to six seasons later.

The only youngster in the entire game with a -10 potential is Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal, I’m pretty sure.

comments user
Martin Simonsen

Try Ton Schaken, he is a really dynamite on the midfield, and javier hernandez, from barcelona.
Angel is a very decent striker, he made 37 goal in one season for my FC Copenhagen team in the season 2024/2025.
Ousman Mane is a very good goalkeeper.
Why have no one seen Simon Mogotsi, he is truly wonderfull, as a Left midfielder.

comments user
Newcastle

I recommend these youngsters.

Striker, Attacking Midfielder: Erick Torres 17 years old. Club Chivas (Mexico) €1M

Erick Torres becomes one of the greatest attackers i’ve ever seen on FM.

Central Defender: Raphael Varane,17 years old. great youngster who puts in a great performance already in the first season.

I also have to mention that Eden Hazard is the best youngster ever. I have bought him in all my saves and he always perform.

I used ManCity fpr the first 4 seasons. I don’t think I need to mention anyone since money is aplenty. But special mention must go to Javier Pastore (36 million pound) from Palermo. Big clubs must purchase him. A great playmaker and scorer. At 22, he’s a good long term key player. Also Boyata will turn out to be a world class CB.

After winning the league, I quit and I signed for Juventus which were 10th in January when I took over. I signed Jese for free (wonderkid from Real Madrid). Play him as Advanced Forward and he does wonder – scoring and assists. Vaclac Kadlec is famous, but useful to Juventus. Seydou Doumbia is decent on first season, signing him for 7.5 million pound from CSKA Moscow, but comes good on 2nd and 3rd season scoring around 15-25 goals per season.

Existing players in Juventus which has average stats but comes really good is Milos Krasic (M/AM R), Sebastian Giovinco (M/AM C/L) and Caludio Marchisio (DM/M C). I already have Moussa Sissoko (DM /M C) in the team which is a phenomenal player, but doesn’t suit my team and sold him off to ManCity for 30.5 million pound.

I found Gylfi Sigurosson (AMC) from Zenit which is as good as Pastore and signed him for 20 million pound. Already a key player. Alberto Botia (DC) – 7 million pound, Hector Rodas (DC) – 4.5 million pound and Massimo Volta (DC) – 4 million pound are decent CBs.

GK – Viviano, Muller

DL – Renzetti / Siano, DC – Botia / Volta, DC- Hector Rodas / Albiol, DR – Rafinha / Gaston Diaz

ML – Holtby, Giovinco, MC – de Jong, Mohamed Sissoko, MC – Gylfi Sigurosson / Marchisio, MR – Krasic, Vladimir Weiss

ST – Jese / Kadlec, ST – Doumbia

On my way to winning my first Serie A. Now 1st in January 2017.
