How to Fix Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Black Screen and Stuttering

TO FIX THE BLACK SCREEN !!!!!!!

-right click “Prince of persia.exe”
-properties
-compability

choose windows98 – ME mode and run in 640×480 mode.

it worked fine for me.

But i didnt like this prince… It’s not like the old ones. Like im playing “Super Sonic” or “Mario3D”

in the stage bath after hanging in the golden bar the door is not opening……how i can get through the door…..guyz plz help…..

Same problem as Taha it hangs in the loading screen. it shows that the game is loading but game never begins.Any help……..

Hey,the folder name was already 1.0 and when i changed the affinity, the game dosent loads up. But i know something which fixed one of my prob,i.e lagging of the game.u can turn on triple buffering in the graphics card control panel.

The black screen prob can be fixed through the compatibility option as told above & the loading screen prob was fixed when I re-installed the game. (try minimizing & maximizing too[for both the problems])

You have a VIRUS in ur system REINSTALL WINDOWS

Hello There Friends I have the solution for the blackscreen Bug when you start your game and the annoying blackscreen appears press the *enter* key you will see a glowing cursor and after 5 or 8 seconds the game will start hope the trick worked for you cause it worked for me

u can use the regedit solution.
but if its already 1.0, run the game in win98/ME mode
it worked for me

This game cant run on xp. Only Vista and above

guys with black screen problem 2 solution

1)when the black screen comes press Ctrl+ALT+Delete than the game will minimize run it by clicking it and after 10-20 second black screen will go

2)those of u who already have 1.0 in regedit set the number to 1.000000000 it will go

hey do u believe it…i have installed the game again and this time the game is starting

after selecting the difficulty level easy…the game is starting

as the game starts the prince is falling down…it is displaying loading…..and again the prince is falling down.again its loading and the prince is falling down…….the same thing is being repeated

can any1 help me?
