Oh, boy! That’s all I can say after reading the list of prepared changes to hit World of Warcraft with the Cataclysm expansion! New classes, the already rumored new WoW races, tons of new content, characters and events – it’s everything there, explained in detail and ready to amaze those who had no idea what was in store for them and World of Warcraft. You can read more details on WoW Cataclysm below.

But first, be warned that there are obviously tons of spoilers here. Also, none of the information revealed has been officially confirmed, but it most of it is expected to be officially confirmed during Blizzcon. Finally, if you wish to get all the details about the World of Warcraft Cataclysm leak, head over to MMO Champion by clicking here.

Now back to the new stuff: first of all, a not-so-impressive change regarding the classes. Even though Cataclysm won’t introduce any new classes, more combinations will be possible (like Dwarf Mage, Tauren Paladin, Troll Druid and so on). The two new races – the Goblins and the Worgens will really hit the servers, as anticipated and rumored already.

Regarding the new content, it seems to be huge. First because Azeroth will be revamped to offer the feel and the looks of the cataclysm, with some zones changing drastically. Also, part of the redesign of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor is the introduction of flying to the two continents, allowing access to many new areas and quicker traveling across the large continents.

Also, with the release of Cataclysm, many zones that were previously unavailable in World of Warcraft (or incomplete) will now be available (areas like Hyjal, Gilneas – The Worgen starting Zone or Uldum). And, of course, there are many more surprises in store – hopefully all of them will be officially confirmed during the Blizzcon 2009.
