  1. Hi,

    My pc has:

    CPU – Intel quad core q8400, 2.66GHz

    Memory – 3gb RAM

    GPU – E.V.G.A Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 1GB

Hard Drive – Seagate 500 gb (IDE)

The game takes so long to load.

I don´t know why, as you ca see, i have the above of minimum system requirements for Dead Space 2 and i would like to know the possible reason why this is happen.

    Please say something!

    Thanks a lot.

    • Hello Joao.

I am not the biggest it expert, but I’ve read somewhere that loading time has something to do with the video cards dedicated memory, i.e., all other things being equal, the more RAM on the video card, the shorter loading time.

And it does seem as if the amount of RAM on your video card is a bit low – it seems 500MB-1GB is standard now.

Thus, my guess would be that the long loading time is due to your video card.

    • lool! Just realised you have 1GB RAM on your video card. Sorry about that.

Have you secured that you have the newest drivers for your hardware?
