castlevaniaThe latest update of the Wii Shop Channel will certainly give you more types of weapons to have in mind if anybody asks which is your favorite in-game weapon. With fast-flying cards, tumbling pachinko balls and sinister vampires, the games released this week by Nintendo for WiiWare and Virtual Channel certainly have all that is needed for some changes in your weapon preferences. So check out some details on the three new games released this week!

Jungle Speed is a very promising WiiWare title which can be played by up to eight players in multiplayer. It is a card game like no other, where quick reflexes and a keen eye are needed for success: speed cards, or rule-changing ones, totems of power and much more, Jungle Speed could be your next Party Game favorite. It can be purchased for 1,000 Wii Points.

Planet Pachinko asks you a simple question: “Can you survive the Pachinkeet Temples of Planet Pachinko?” Before answering, you should know that using rockets, lasers, grenades and slime launchers you will have to battle against pirates and robots in maze-like temples. The good thing is that you can also play the game in co-op with one of your friends, to make things easier. The game costs 500 Wii Points.

Finally, a true classic and a fans’ favorite, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse is now available for purchase from the Virtual Console for 500 Wii Points. The classic NES title puts you in the shoes of Trevor Belmont and challenges you to battle Dracula in a time long before the events of the first two Castlevania games. Loaded with replay value and featuring some of the best platform action ever, this title is not to be missed for fans of the genre!
