titanfall beta impressions 1Titanfall managed to hold onto the top of the UK All Formats Chart following the release of EA’s 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil tie-in game.

The Xbox 360 version, released two weeks ago, was a big factor in the game holding on to first place, according to Chart Track. What also helped was the World Cup 2014 game being released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, whereas Titanfall is available across three platforms in the 360, Xbox One and PC.

Elsewhere in the charts, LEGO: The Hobbit drops down one place into third, and FIFA 14 follows suit with a dip into fourth.

Call of Duty: Ghosts manages to hold onto fifth with a two-place drop for South Park: The Stick of Truth sees it in sixth this week.

The latest game in Red Lynx’s fun but frustrating Trials series Trials Fusion enters in seventh (digital sales not counting) whilst Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is down to eighth.

The LEGO Movie Videogame is down to ninth and Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare rounds off the Top 10 this week.

Elsewhere in the charts sees the return of Square Enix MMO Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn thanks to its release on PS4. The game originally launched on PS3 and PC in September 2013.

The UK All Formats Chart Top 10 (Week ending 19th April 2014) is as follows:

1. (-) Titanfall
2. (N) 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil
3. (2) LEGO: The Hobbit
