The dialog and the cutscenes tell the story of Squad E of the Atlantic Federation fighting the Imperial Alliance. Valkyria Chronicles 4 were rated 8.7 by IGN, but it still feels like they deserve more.

The story lets you play as an Inquisitor who’s main job is to hunt and eliminate any enemy who oppose the God-Emperor’s rule. The acting is so well done that its a shame this game didn’t had a more interesting gameplay. The RPG is a bit repetitive and there aren’t many tactics you can use against the enemies. But despite of that, its a beautiful RPG and the fans of Warhammer 40,000 will surely enjoy it. As old fans of Warhammer 40,000 – we believe it deserves a spot on the best RPGs of 2018.

The game have a lot of potential and a really engaging story. The gameplay is fun, enjoyable but a bit dark for some players. The best thing about it is that it reflects the period fairly accurate – as the game is full of sexism, classism, racist and xenophobia. Nevertheless, its entertaining and addicting and it surely deserves a spot on the best RPGs of 2018.

Here Ubisoft wants to make you pay money in order to level up easier and move on with the story – so micro-transactions. But if you put that aside, the game of one of the best open-world RPGs that you ever played. The reason why this game is #4 on the best RPGs of 2018 list is the fact that micro-transactions are available and there are a few bugs in the combat system.

This gem is definitely one of the best RPGs of 2018 and thanks to its powerful combat and focus on character-defining choices it takes the second place in our best RPGs of 2018 list.

The craziness I see. DQ11 was a really good game and to be overlooked on a list of top rpgs of 2018. I dont see a game on this list that is better then it.
