Have you ever played an RTS and thought that the mouse and keyboard are just not enough? Well, I know, I have. When you have multiple conflict zones and lots of units of different types, you simply can’t manage with just the mouse and keyboard. I bet you just want to scream to your troops to attack zone X, to defend zone Y, to go to waypoint W, etc.

Now, all these may come true with Tom Clancy’s End War game. As you might already know, the main feature of the game is that it can be played entirely using only voice commands. End War is set in the near future and puts the players in command of an high-tech army in combat across world-capital battlefields like Washington, London or Paris.

The game is going to be release on 7 November 2008 and it’s going to be available on PS3, XBOX 360 and DS. Unfortunately the PC version of the game still doesn’t have a clear release date. According to
Michael de Plater, creative director of Ubisoft Shanghai, the reason for this delay is the piracy. “If [the] PC wasn’t pirated to hell and back, there’d probably be a PC version coming out the same day”. “But at the moment, if you release the PC version, essentially what you’re doing is letting people have a free version that they rip off instead of a purchased version. Piracy’s basically killing PC.”

Without any other comments, I’ll let you enjoy the latest video of End War:
