titanfall dlcThe first piece of Titanfall DLC will be released in May, Respawn Entertainment has announced.

The map pack will be called Expedition and will introduce three new maps into the Frontier, called Runoff, Swamplands and Wargames.

In a post on the Titanfall Blog, Respawn added a bit of narrative for the pack, as well as how the three maps will link together: “In the wake of the Battle of Demeter, IMC Expeditionary Forces travel deep into Frontier space to recover from their recent defeat.”

This leads into Runoff, where IMC have begun building a new operations base on an unnamed planet.

Drainage operations at the base uncover ancient ruins and artefacts that are ‘of unknown oirigin’ which is the setting for second map Swamplands.

The final map, Wargames, is set in the training grounds of the facility, where the IMC pilots train: “Train for anticipated Militia raids, based on lessons learned in Angel City and IMC Airbase Sierra.”

The first of three new packs, Titanfall: Expedition will be available next month for $9.99/£7.99. You can also get it as part of the Titanfall Season pass, which is available on the three released consoles (Xbox One, PC and xbox 360) for $24.99/£19.99, giving you a chunk off the overall price of purchasing them separately.

What are your thoughts on the content for this pack? Remember that Respawn have already stated that game modes will be included free as part of future updates. What would you have liked to have seen included for this DLC?
