20121024014944!The_Elder_scrolls_online_logoThe Elder Scrolls online will be getting its first major update this week, which includes the much anticipated Craglorn adventure zone.

Speaking in an interview with IGN, creative director Paul Sage said that Zenimax are currently shooting for a release on Thursday or Friday for the update.

As well as Craglorn, the update is also introducing 12 man trials as well as a number of fixes such as the de-syncing quests.

Sage said the developer is still looking to release new content for the game every four or six weeks.

“I believe our next update is fairly on schedule.

“When we released we talked about our plans rather than ‘this is exactly what it’s going to be’ – we’re generally pretty careful about the language.

“I think any plan like that can be disrupted if something unforeseen happens. But right now we have the second update lined up and ready to go onto the PTS [Public Test Server] once we launch Craglorn, and that’s coming soon. That’ll be the Veteran Dungeon, Crypt of Hearts.”

Early adopters of the MMO were recently rewarded with five days free game time following the problematic launch.

Originally due out on consoles in June, Zenimax confirmed that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Elder Scrolls Online have been delayed by six months so they can properly integrate their systems with those of the two console manufacturers.

What would you like to see in the next update along with the Crypt of Hearts dungeon? Are you hoping for the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild next or something else?
