Turbine announced that Dungeons and Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited will go live on August 6 and it will be completely free to play. Eberron Unlimited is a free digital upgrade for DDO: Stormreach and it will add quite a few changes to the already popular game.

Talking with VG247, Turbine’s producer Aaron Campbell admitted that the developers of Lord of the Rings Online are pleased with how the game’s doing right now: player base is growing, people keep coming back to play the title and no server mergers are scheduled for the future. That’s great!

The virtual characters in LotRO can take part, starting today, in the One Kinship To Rule Them All contest, a leveling contest for your kinship that, of course, can bring you lots of special prizes, including pre-payment for its Kinship Hall for up to a year!
