I doubt that there is another video game character as famous as Mario and used as inspiration for as many things as the Italian plumber. So, with so many crazy items carrying Mario’s signature (just the other day I wrote about the Super Mario Bros coffee table), at first it doesn’t sound too impressive when you hear about this Mario LEGO figure.

Until you find out the details: over 20,000 LEGO pieces were used to build the big-nosed but short legged mushroom eater and, as you can see, Mario does look pretty well. His ears might be a bit too big and his face might resemble that of a pig, but nobody is perfect. Not even Mario. Cheers to Perez Start for the finding!
