If you’re feeling like playing once again some classic Sega titles or just some brand new flash games – all for free, you should know that Sega has just launched the beta version of their flash gaming portal, Play Sega. So play them a visit and try your hand at Sonic at the Olympic Games or the classic Brain Assist and more!

Initially started as a project within the Sega Network Group, Play Sega proved to have quite some potential, and the company decided to give it a try – right now the website is in a Beta stage and the number of titles is not impressive, but soon enough we’ll have tons of classic titles to choose from. Even more, the company plans to launch a VIP section on the website, which will allow gamers to play classic Sega MegaDrive games for a fee.

“SEGA fans and new gamers alike can now come together in one place and enjoy some of our most exciting vintage and new titles,” said Nick Pili, Sega Europe’s network business director.

With prizes up for grabs, the possibility for players to create their own avatars and lots of free games to play, it appears that Sega had a great idea, just in time for Christmas.
